Maintenance Instructions

Alcantara is the registered trademark of the innovative material, exclusively produced by alcantara s.p.a. elegant and functional at the same time, alcantara combines qualities such as softness, richness of colour and is particularly stain resistant and easy to maintain.

It can be used in different prestigious ways in furnishings & car upholstery, in the world of fashion and clothing accessories. Regular maintenance is required in order to preserve the finish of alcantara, we recommend that regular cleaning is carried out. Don't rub to vigorously, and we don't recommend using steam machines for cleaning.

Daily Cleaning:

We would recommend that it is sufficient to dust using a soft brush or dry microfiber cloth.

Weekly Cleaning:

After dusting the material, run a lightly moist cotton cloth over the wheel. Avoid using printed or absorbent cloths/papers as they can release ink onto the material.

Yearly Cleaning:

Once installed the wrap is not removable so you are not required to remove for a deeper clean. We recommend you clean with a dedicated cleaner for alcantara.

It is also possible to clean the material if you are unable to use a dedicated cleaner.

Dust the material with care, moisten a soft cloth in clean water, wring thoroughly and run it ver the whole wheel, make sure not to wet it excessively. Rinse cloth and repeat as necessary. Leave to dry overnight. Once dried in order to restore the material brush it delecately with a soft bristle brush.
